A Canadian school is being sued by the family of a six-year-old student who was distressed to hear that “girls are not real” and “boys are not real.” The school denied a request to reassure her that girls are indeed “real.” A lawyer representing her family says the school’s policy violates Ontario’s Human Rights Code.
